I think some of you are missing the purpose of this service in the first place
It’s just a shuttle dedicated for zoo visitors so they can travel between the two sections of the Wildlife Reserve: East & West
Previously, people only had M2 or 138/927 to travel between East & West. But M2 is too infrequent (10-15min per bus) and 138/927 requires a paying fare, which is ridiculous since you’re travelling within the Wildlife Reserve compounds, not out of it.
Currently, when people take M2 to travel between East & West, they make the mistake of tapping in because they are unaware they don’t need to. And if communication between commuters and BC isn’t clear they end up paying an unnecessary fare
With M1, it’s clearer for people. It’s free, frequent and no confusion.

I don’t like this bus service M1, maybe this bus will extended to Punggol MRT station and Punggol coast bus interchange . However, bus service MFS (Mandai free shuttle) will replace by bus service M1.

Hi, given these days LTA is prudent in introducing new routes, a regular route frm Sembawang to Mandai zoo is unlikely imo.
A former smrt 926 from Woodlands to Mandai, wkend service was withdrawn some yrs back.
Nevertheless, can try writing to LTA.
