From Sunday, 01 May 2016, a section of Fullerton Road (towards Connaught Drive) will be out of bounds to heavy vehicles and buses as part of on-going improvement works for a more pedestrian-friendly Civic District near the Padang. As such, bus services 75, 100, 107, 130, 131 & 167, which ply the affected sector of Fullerton Road towards Connaught Drive, will be amended to Esplanade Drive instead.
As the road access limitations only affect northbound traffic along Fullerton Road, the southbound routes of the above bus services (via Connaught Dr, Fullerton Rd & Collyer Quay) as well as Bus Services 195 & 961 plying St Andrews Rd via Parliament Place will not be affected.
The following bus stops will be closed and abolished from 01 May 2016:
- Bus Stop 02011 – Victoria Concert Hall, Fullerton Road
- Bus Stop 02031 – St. Andrew’s Cathedral, St. Andrew’s Rd
Bus Services 75, 100, 107, 130, 131 & 167 will call at the following bus stop instead from 01 May 2016:
- Bus Stop 02111 – Esplanade Bridge, Esplanade Drive
