Shuttle 21: Punggol—Serangoon Shuttle Bus Service

Shuttle 21 is a Rail Replacement Service for the North East Line (NEL), plying between Punggol – Serangoon.

The route will be activated to operate in June & July 2024, as train services on the entire North East Line (NEL) will start later at 8.00am on four consecutive Sundays, from 30 June to 21 July 2024. This is to facilitate the integrated testing of systems for the opening of the new Punggol Coast Station.

Shuttle 22 between HarbourFront and Serangoon will also be operated on affected days.

Shuttle 21 serves the following MRT Stations:

• NE17PTC Punggol
• NE16STC Sengkang
• NE15 Buangkok
• NE14 Hougang
• NE13 Kovan
• NE12CC13 Serangoon

Shuttle 21 operates during periods of planned closure on the NEL.

The Shuttle Bus Service will only operate on days of Late Opening of the NEL in June & July 2024, namely:

• Sunday 7 July 2024
• Sunday 14 July 2024
• Sunday 21 July 2024

Bus Fares:

Charges regular distance fare based on the distance between MRT Stations by rail. Train, bus and hybrid concession passes are accepted, and distance fare rules apply.
