Shuttle 21: Serangoon—Punggol Shuttle Bus Service

Shuttle 21, or the Serangoon—Punggol Shuttle Bus Service, is a Rail Replacement Service plying between Serangoon and Punggol, serving en-route North East Line (NEL) stations.

The route will be activated to operate on selected Fridays and Saturdays in November 2019, when shortened operating hours are implemented on the North East Line, to facilitate additional engineering hours for rail renewal work.

This service is reflected as Bus Service 602 on the Bus Ticketing System.

The Shuttle Bus Service serves the following MRT Stations:

• NE12CC13 Serangoon
• NE13 Kovan
• NE14 Hougang
• NE15 Buangkok
• NE16STC Sengkang
• NE17PTC Punggol

Shuttle 21 operates during periods of planned closure on the NEL, to support intensified maintenance that will be carried out on the tracks as well as component replacement works for the NEL’s power and signalling systems.

The Shuttle Bus Service will only operate on days of Early Closure of the NEL in November 2019, namely:

• 1 & 2 November 2019
• 8 & 9 November 2019
• 15 & 16 November 2019
• 22 & 23 November 2019
