West Coast MRT Station (CR18) is an underground station along the Cross Island Line (CRL) Phase 2. The station is located along West Coast Road, near the junction with West Coast Highway and Jalan Buroh.

The station is in the vicinity of the residential estates along West Coast Drive, as well as the Pandan Loop Industrial Estate.

It is targeted for completion and opening in Year 2032.

The station will also serve as an interchange station with the Jurong Region Line as part of the West Coast Extension by the late 2030s.

Train Services

West Coast station has two platforms in an island platform arrangement, with both platforms utilized for trains travelling in either direction. The station platforms are built to eight-car length to cater for future expansion, although trains will only operate in a six-car formation.

West Coast MRT station will have three exits leading to ground level. More details will be confirmed closer to the opening of the station.

Construction Trivia

West Coast station will be constructed as part of Contract CR209Design and Construction of West Coast Station and Tunnels for Cross Island Line, which was awarded to Gamuda Berhad Singapore Branch at a contract value of around $510 million in December 2023.

    I bet this station will be an Interchange Station with JRL’S West Coast Extension.
