Bus Service 452 provides a faster connection for commuters travelling between housing estates in Tengah and Beauty World MRT Station. This limited-stop service, which operates only during weekday morning and evening peak hours in one direction, is a quicker alternative to Bus Service 871.
The service plies non-stop between Bukit Batok Rd and Beauty World MRT in both directions. Morning trips toward Beauty World head via PIE and Upp Bukit Timah Rd, terminating at Jalan Jurong Kechil (outside Beauty World Station Exit C). Evening trips start from the same bus stop at Beauty World, heading non-stop via Toh Tuck Rd, Toh Tuck Ave and PIE before reaching Bukit Batok Rd.
This limited-stop service is introduced under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP). They provide a direct connection to MRT Stations for estates farther away from transport nodes.
If the eves of Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Chinese New Year fall on a weekday, the Evening Peak departures may be brought forward to the afternoon. Revised departure times will be provided by the operator closer to the affected date.

Back to Limited-stop Peak Period Bus Services

Will these limited stop bus services cost more than normal bus services?
I am already feeling so sad about the transport hikes after christmas this year.
I think service 452 should not be limited to peak period services only.
People still need a quick transfer to and from Beauty World MRT throughout the day.
Perhaps if ridership is justified, we can make service 452 run from morning to night.
Maybe at a lower frequency during non-peak hours.
Who’s idea is this?
You meant to say “whose idea is this” instead of “who’s idea is this”.
Your input translates to “who is idea is this”, which does not make any grammatical sense and it pains me
Anyway I think quite wasted, could have swapped service 452 and 453 around.
Would be nice to see Bukit Batok with service numbers ending in 2s. Such as 452, 852 and 992.
Knn your English so powerful even grammar mistakes you want to make a fuss!?
