Bangkit LRT Station (BP9) is a light rail station along the Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT). Located within the Bukit Panjang estate, the station is overground and located near the junction of Bukit Panjang Ring Road and Bangkit Road.

Named after the adjacent Bangkit Road, which means “rise” in Malay, the station largely serves schools and HDB residential estates in the vicinity.

The Bukit Panjang LRT station is overground with two side platforms, used for trains travelling in either direction.

Concourse

The station concourse feature faregates for automatic fare collection and provides access between paid and unpaid areas of the station, with at least one bidirectional wide-swinging gate for the benefit of passengers-in-wheelchairs and those carrying bulky items or travelling with prams.

In the event of a LRT service disruption affecting Bangkit station, LRT Bridging Buses may be activated to ply affected stretches of the Bukit Panjang LRT. In which case, the buses can be boarded from the following bus stops:

Major Incidents

On 27 October 2025 at around 23:35hrs, an intoxicated passenger fell onto the tracks at Bangkit LRT station. The emergency stop plunger was activated immediately by SMRT staff and the operations control centre stopped train service in the affected sector. The passenger was subsequently rescued and taken to hospital, while a police report was made by SMRT.
