Sembawang MRT Station (NS11) is an above-ground station along the North South Line (NSL). It is located in the heart of Sembawang New Town, and next to Sembawang Way, near the junctions of Sembawang Drive and Canberra Road.

Named after the Sembawang tree (Mesua ferruginea), Sembawang station was opened in February 1996 a part of the NSL (Woodlands Extension), and is a transport node for residents of Sembawang New Town, serving an adjacent shopping mall (Sun Plaza), community amenities, schools and housing developments. Bus services are offered from Sembawang Bus Interchange, connecting to other parts of the estate.
