I hope this service will acquire the Volvo BZL – SC Neustar City Bus from 2023. This bus has a bulk of Scania K230UB Buses!
Volvo BZL already assigned to Tower Transit now. And btw since Scania K230UB is going to replace in mid-2020s, 26 will likely have new bus. Don’t like K230UB or what, I think just treasure it before gone.
I saw a 0530 Citaro on service 26 yesterday
Probably Bedok Int a lot of 0530 Citaros
Maybe coz of services 38 and 40
Wise amendment for a stretch with several parallel routes. Can also look into amending a route that makes a loop at Jln Kembangan, calling at the svc 42 1st/last stop, in the direction towards town area to better serve Lengkong Tiga flats & link to Kembangan MRT.
Good to have service 26 amended, as there are multiple parallel routes! Plus those at Chai Chee can also get to Geylang Serai or Bendemeer in one bus trip.
I bet TCJ pushed for this. Chai Chee Dr used to be served by Route 222 in only one direction.
