What a waste that Tengah residents are not given the convenience of same bus stop alight and board at Chinese Garden MRT station. The thing about the Chinese Garden MRT station is that have to cross the bridge to get to the other side.

If there was the convenience of same bus stop board and alight at Chinese Garden MRT station (meaning to say: loop via Jurong Town Hall Road > Chinese Garden MRT station > Jurong East Street 31 > Jurong East Avenue 1 > Jurong Town Hall Road), Chinese Garden MRT station can even be renamed to Tengah MRT station – which will be a huge relief to Tengah residents, and also immediately give Tengah residents a station of their own on a high capacity MRT line that connects straight to the city centre and other parts of Singapore.

Anyway, until the launch date of 10 August, still got some time. If the authorities want to change the routing, now still can change.

Due to the geography of Chinese Garden MRT station, it would be good if the Tengah service can loop via Chinese Garden MRT station instead of just pass by it. This way, it would be the same bus stop when going to and from Chinese Garden MRT station for Tengah residents.

So, needless to say, the loop alignment would be:

Bukit Batok Road > Jurong Town Hall Road > Chinese Garden MRT station > Jurong East Street 31 > Jurong East Avenue 1 > Jurong Town Hall Road > Bukit Batok Road

If residents doesn’t mind, can take from that stop then sit back on the short St 32 loop then U-Turn back. I mean there are many ways .

      1) can board from the doorstep, enjoy via St 32
      2) if you miss 872 bus from EW25 Chinese Garden, can walk over the bridge then board from opposite

So looking at the route, there are 2 ways

Legit. They should be thankful to have such facilities built for them. They wanted lifts, they served. Now these strawberry generation kids are hoping for 872 to call at the direct bus stop to the MRT twice? How dumb can that be?
