2-3 BPJ Int svc will be amended to start from Gali Batu and 180 will terminate at BPJ Int instead.

Compassvale Interchange wasted…Today I noticed they used the other 2 empty spots for the LRT Breakdown Bus Service…Actually 114 can end at the interchange.

This bus service resembles 974, where one of its trips begins and ends at Bukit Panjang MRT Station.

If 974 use the nearby Bukit Panjang Bus Park to terminate and originate, I believe this bus service will use the nearby Compassvale Bus Interchange to terminate and originate.

When the Buangkok Bus Interchange opens next to Buangkok MRT Station in 2022, this bus service would most probably switch to use Buangkok Bus Interchange to terminate and originate.

974 is from Bukit Panjang MRT Station till Joo Koon Bus Interchange. It doesn’t head into the Bus Park.

My statement about 974 using the Bukit Panjang Bus Park was based on my observations at the Bukit Panjang MRT Station bus stop where the 974 bus would call to pick up passengers.

974 buses ending at Bukit Panjang MRT Station would go one round around Bukit Panjang town centre and then go towards Bukit Panjang Bus Park. This can be observed from the departure bus stop of 974 at Bukit Panjang MRT Station.

974 buses picking up passengers at the Bukit Panjang MRT Station bus stop come in the direction of the Bukit Panjang Bus Park.

Furthermore, if I remember correctly, I got ever see before tower transit buses at the Bukit Panjang Bus Park.

Therefore, I made the statement that 974 buses use the Bukit Panjang Bus Park.

If I have written wrongly, please correct me. Thanks.

As I understand, when the nearby Gali Batu Bus Terminal begins service, the Bukit Panjang Bus Park may be replaced.

Nonetheless, given the routing of 974, I do not think the route would be amended to use the Gali Batu Bus Park.

Furthermore, the Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange probably has not enough capacity.

My best guess is that 974 will probably be converted into a bus service that loops at Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, just like 180, since the 974 traveling time and 180 traveling time are about the same.

If 180 can loop at Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange and only use Boon Lay Bus Interchange, 974 can loop at Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange and only use Joo Koon Bus Interchange.

If 974 can use the Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, this would consolidate all the passengers to Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, to provide a holistic service to public bus passengers. Also, this would allow 974 passengers to enjoy the integrated transport hub when taking 974, therefore improving the 974 passengers’ comfort and experience when taking public buses.
