North South Line Train Service Delay – Signalling Fault (29 Mar)

On Monday, 29 March 2021, North South Line train services between Raffles Place & Bishan were delayed during the Morning Peak hours due to a Signalling Fault between City Hall and Newton which occurred at the start of service hours.

Free Bus Bridging service was activated.

• 5:47 – Additional 25 minutes train travel time between Raffles Place – Toa Payoh
  Free bus rides & bridging buses activated between Marina South Pier – Toa Payoh
• 5:52 – Additional 25 minutes train travel time between Raffles Place – Novena
• 6:48 – Additional 35 minutes train travel time between Raffles Place – Novena
• 7:30 – Additional 45 minutes train travel time between Raffles Place – Bishan
• 10:00 – Suspension of Train Service for 15 minutes between Marina South Pier – Toa Payoh for signalling system reset
• 10:20 – Train Service Resumed
• 10:47 – Free bus rides & bridging buses ceased
