Tower Transit granted two-year extension to Operate Bulim and Sembawang-Yishun Bus Packages

Tower Transit Singapore (TTS) has announced a two-year contract extension granted by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), allowing the operator to continue managing the Bulim and Sembawang-Yishun Bus Packages.

The extension means TTS will operate the Bulim Bus Package, comprising 33 services, until 28 May 2028, and the Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package, comprising 26 services, until 4 September 2028.

Under the Bus Contracting Model, bus packages are tendered out for a contract term of 5 years with an option to extend for another 2 years with good performance.

In a statement, TTS expressed gratitude for LTA’s continued confidence in the company. “We remain committed to delivering world-class bus services with a personal touch,” the operator shared, highlighting the importance of service quality, safety, and inclusivity.

Mandai should transfer some of their B2 B3 A95 and Euro6 A95 to Bulim.. Including the 3 door E500 and E500 2 doors.
Bulim transfer the 3 door A95 and Volvo B9TL to Mandai.Bulim also transfer half of their Citaro in exchange for A22.

For some reason they put 963/e and 966 under sbw-yis package but both of them does not go there at all. i think one of them can return to SMRT and TTS can take 962 for exchange since it go to sbw. or 964, admiralty is quite close to sbw

What I heard about info is that in future the authority will take back 169,856,858,963,963e,965,966 and 969 into Woodlands Package. Sembawang-Yishun in return will get all the Yishun feeders,850E, 851,851e and 852.
About Seletar I aint too sure but I suspect they too will get svc like 825,72,73,136 etc..

From what I notice, TTS is doing good only on the Bulim side. They treat Mandai side like trash.

True indeed. Buses poorly maintained, AC not cold like oven, even AC duct is choked with dust and floor is so dirty like not swept everyday. Somemore they have the most good quality buses in MDDEP, MAN A95 and ADL 3 door.
Those fleets should swap over to Bulim.

Mandai hired cleaners but these cleaners is all gung-ho,They only clean certain buses and if got complain then they will do properly and mind you Mandai has since engaged 3 contractors.. But again those ex-AMDEP mechanics are plain lazy bums.Engineering management also all screw up.
I agreed they should swap buses with Bulim
Mandai intake few Citaro and B9TL.. Transfer all E500 tu Bulim and intake 3door A95.
        Bulim take 3 door E500

They lost because of TTS? You OK or not if that the case then don’t join BCM just concentrate on their frequent breakdown MRTs.

You forget that they declared losing money on bus business so LTA just answered their prayers… Seletar in fact should be awarded to GA not SBST.
