243, can still revert to loop format. Both G and W majority passengers alight by Jurong West Avenue 5 and Jurong West Street 82.

    W: loop via Ave 5 > St 81 > St 82 > Ave 5.

    G: loop via St 75 > Ave 5 > St 72 > St 73 > St 75.

However, this would make 242 kinda redundant, since it will effectively cover 242’s loop route.

G can effectively use 242, W can use 243. Original 242 can be completely scrapped, with new 242 (GP area) and 199/172/181/198/174 (BL area) as alternatives.

Cannot lah…… If renumbered as 243 and 244 but same routing, then later it will cause the confusion to passengers if they want to go like Point A to Point B then Point B to Point A.
