Background:

Pasir Gudang is a large industrial town 20 kilometers east of Johor Bahru (measured via EDL and East Coast Highway), at the eastern end of the Johor Bahru metropolitan area. Located in the civic centre is Pasir Gudang Bus Terminal, catering to mostly Johor Bahru local bus routes and small numbers of intercity bus routes. Accessed from Jalan Mawar Biru, it is in the vicinity of the Jalan Mawar Biru – Jalan Mawar Merah intersection.

The Terminal:

The current Pasir Gudang Terminal facilities were set up in June 2000. It features multiple end-on berths, with a sheltered bus waiting area fitted with benches. Next to the bus terminal is a taxi pick-up point.

Nearby amenities include Kompleks Pusat Bandar, UO Superstore Pasir Gudang, Hotel Selesa, Hospital Penawar and the Johor Port Authority building (Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor)
