East Coast Bus Depot is a bus depot located at Sungei Bedok. The multi-storey depot facility is co-located with East Coast Integrated Train Depot, which serves the East-West Line, Downtown Line, and Thomson-East Coast Line.
Under the Bus Contracting Model, East Coast Bus Depot is presently occupied by Go-Ahead Singapore as the successful tenderer of the Tampines Bus Package.

Introduction
East Coast Bus Depot was commissioned by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) as part of the East Coast Integrated Depot, an integrated rail and bus depot in the Sungei Bedok region which also serves the East-West Line, Downtown Line and Thomson-East Coast Line. Both rail and bus depots are co-located to optimise land use and streamline construction processes. Construction began in 2016 and was initially scheduled for completion in 2024, but was eventually delayed to 2026 due to pandemic-related delays.
The depot is intended to accommodate additional buses that are being introduced over the years, as the overall bus capacity increases under the Bus Contracting Model (BCM). The multi-story depot is designed to handle over 500 buses and is equipped with a Bus Operations Control Centre, parking spaces, refuelling and washing facilities, repair and maintenance facilities, and administrative offices to support day-to-day bus operations. Maintenance workshops, refuelling and washing facilities are located on the ground level, and parking spaces for buses are located on the second and third levels.
When completed, East Coast Bus Depot joins other multi-storey bus depots in Singapore such as Tengah Bus Depot, Sengkang West Bus Depot, Woodlands Bus Depot, and Soon Lee Bus Depot.
The bus depot capacity was initially listed as 760 buses in an LTA factsheet published in November 2018, later revised to 740 buses in the LTA Annual Report 2018/19. It was later revised to 760 buses in another LTA factsheet published in September 2022. A finalised figure of ‘over 500 buses’ was announced in November 2024, accounting for a design update to make room for electric bus infrastructure, including the capacity to charge about 240 electric buses as well as fire safety systems.
Charging Infrastructure
Electric bus chargers within East Coast Bus Depot were installed under Contract BD401A, awarded to a Busways Pte Ltd/Shell Singapore Pte Ltd consortium. 240 dual-gun CCS2 DC chargers were installed, with each pile rated at up to 360 kW.
Operational History:
Under the Bus Contracting Model, East Coast Bus Depot is allocated to the Tampines Bus Package. The route package was awarded to Go-Ahead Singapore in September 2025, and Go-Ahead bus operations at the new depot commenced on 5 July 2026.
