Service 75 connects the West to the Central areas, serving residents of Bukit Panjang, Upper Bukit Timah, Ulu Pandan, Bukit Merah, and Kim Tian with connections to the City areas of Napier, Grange Road, and Great World. It is also the only bus service to ply Grange Road.
From Bukit Panjang, Service 75 compliments Service 184 to Clementi Road, a sector of high demand during peak periods with demand from various educational institutes along Clementi Road, such as Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore University of Social Sciences.
The service, previously connecting Gali Batu to Marina Centre, was amended to Bukit Merah Bus Interchange as part of the Thomson-East Coast Line 3 Bus Service Rationalisation via Kim Tian Road and Jalan Bukit Merah, effective 17 December 2023. The lost sectors along Cantonment Road and Cantonment Link were served by the amended Service 121.

75 for now should stay as single control..61 is the one who need dual.
Duplicates 184 too much until 184 useless service. 75 Should ply through Senja new housing estates, then Cashew Rd via Bt panjang Ring Rd. Go to Bt Timah Rd until Sixth Avenue then go by Sixth Avenue. Rest remains unchanged. maybe let 970 go to Bt Merah and 75 to Shenton way via 970 route. more direct.
Bukit Panjang Residents many donkey years

– Take over Lost Sector of Service 970 from Bt Timah to Beauty World.
Maybe it should ply Dunearn/Bukit Timah Road, Cluny/Evans Road, Skipping Clementi, Ulu Pandan and Holland Roads. 75 should amend because for the connectivity for Cluny/Evans Road Residents to Tanglin Mall & Great World City, instead of walking from Cluny/Evans Road to Napier MRT for 10-5 minutes.
Can Double Decker Buses ply Evans and Cluny Road?
There not much of demand as it’s all private estates. And secondly, Holland Road & Ulu Pandan Road / Clementi Road are still needed for 75…..
After the route amendment, I think double deck buses may deploy into this service. Saw some buses running into trial for it.
The problem is right….. 75 demand isn’t as packed as 184 or 7 in this case. 75 demand technically is not as overloading as them.
Even if Granges Road only have Service 75, Granges Road is mostly private property. Means, most people drive cars and minority will take Service 75. If want to talk about DDs, wait long long. I take 75 occassionally, even peak hour still can have seats and quiet rides without a single squeeze.
