Back to Bus Services
I Think It Makes Sense for 801 to go to Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package as There are not Feeder Buses under The Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package. So if they Intend to Introduce 802 , Hopefully it is also under The Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package. For 808 & 809 , i don’t know.
Probably TT has excess BCs? since recently 66 kena route cut
so maybe resources goes to operating this service
I cant think of any other reasons
Yep, but cannot cross deploy.
Maybe the few 3-doors ADE 500 was leased to that package for use @ svc 801?
First time Tower Transit servicing feeder services at Yishun!
Alternatively, since SBW-YIS package has lesser services as compared to Seletar, LTA decided to give 801 to TTS but it’ll be relocated back to Seletar once Seletar’s contract expire.
VERY SURPRISING. WHY CAN’T SBST can’t operate this service? like SBST has the 800 series feeder service so, give it to SBST. Like is to weird to have 801 for TTS to operate. SBST could just continue the 800 feeder series.
LTA is giving TTS the monopoly to operate feeder svcs.]
BCM wise, it is 800 series (excluding this) that is weird. THEY should be under TTS
Yep, exactly. The 800-series feeders should rightfully be allocated under SBW-YIS instead of the 7 Mandai-based WDL services. The latter routes should then be returned back to WDL package. It makes much more operational sense to deploy from MDDEP instead of SEDEP, and TTS being the anchor operator of YITH, it should have the most number of routes under its control instead of the other way round.
