Expect this route will only deploy only single decker ONLY. Especially this new route only act as a supporting role for routes 803 and 806 at a certain extent at least. The latest fleet of A22 need a run as well too.
Too bad. Even got a 3-Door Alexander Dennis
most likely this would be like NG like service 944. It was transferred to TTS in may 2021 and was onmy the SMRT feeder service with the 940 feeder series. So, I think it will be the same like feeder 801. Then, I think the winner of the Seletar bus package winner in 2023 will still be SBST like the Bulim bus package
I think the service like many mentioned here is under the NC. Won’t be surprise if Svc 801 get transferred to SBST and maybe 1 or 2 of SBST, transferred to TTS.
IMO, I would rather have these services under this circumstances:
Svc 169 – Mandai Package to Seletar Package (SBST)
Svc 801 – (Maybe) Mandai Package to Seletar Pacakge (SBST)
Svc 850E – Seletar Package – Mandai Package (TTS)
Svc 860 – Seletar Package – Mandai Package (TTS)
OR
Svc 169 – Mandai Package to Seletar Package (SBST)
Svc 801 – (Maybe) Mandai Package to Seletar Pacakge (SBST)
Svc 850E – Seletar Package – Mandai Package (TTS)
Svc 852 – Seletar Package – Mandai PAckage (TTS)
I think TTS 801 was probably to replace some “lost resources” of TTS 66 after shortened I guess? Anyways, we don’t know the outcome of TTS 801 along the way.
Maybe will be like TTS 944 case as SMRT NC, so maybe same goes to TTS 801 as NC? I don’t know.
Just imagine what if 801 was instead made to operate by SMRT under woodlands bus package. Given hw dumb LTA is in planning. i wont be shocked if that actually happened. Hahaha
They already have 110 in WL package, so anything is possible. I doubt 22 and 506 will shift package anytime soon.
