Contrary to the direction that the YouTuber “ZBK Volgren” is trying to lead, I don’t think 874 is temporary.
First, how is 874 even duplicating JRL between Tengah and CCK West? And next, even CCK West and CCK also not duplicated by 874. So, 874 actually isn’t duplicating JRL at all.
In fact, 874 and 873 will certainly be amended to run along the future part of Tengah Boulevard when it is ready, to connect to Tengah Brickland area. That’s about the only amendment.
But either way, 874 and 873 are permanent bus routes.
It might not be temporary.
but there will be route extension in future.
likely to yewtee
the looping at cck is weird
Agreed, New bus svc nowadays isn’t same like last time. They already learned lessons on how important to have bus parallel with rail especially during train breakdowns.
Honestly, 870 & 874 should merge into one bus service 870 but serves Tengah Int both directions so that it’s more useful, JE will have direct bus service to CCK.
when will 506 extend to tengah and changi airport?
What I heard is Upp East Coast to Tengah and will start from Bedok South ITH once operational. Guess they still need to deploy DDs after all. 506 to Airport will need more SD to deploy.
What about bus service 875?
since when got the bus service to plan for 875
875 is in the future. no plans yet, but surely might come one day
Bulim haven’t lease any buses so far don’t tell me they maximise fleet again duh
perhaps flexi deployment buses?
To be frank they should just lease all the 6 storage buses and request Mandai to transfer over the B2 or B3 A95… Probably 3 to 4 units of DDs.. You must take account that breakdowns, downtime repairs and maintenance if you maximise fleet and there’s a risk of cut duty if it occurs.. This is what happens to Tower and Go Ahead due to flexi deployment. Remember flexi BUSES BCs doesn’t care about reporting any unusual stuffs
