SMRT Bus Service 927 is a trunk route from Choa Chu Kang Interchange and looping at Mandai Lake Road, going via KJE, Woodlands Road and Mandai Road. It is one of two daily public bus services to Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

Service 927 is a trunk route linking Choa Chu Kang with Woodlands Road and Mandai Lake Road, providing bus connections to various industries along Woodlands Road as well as attractions at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Along Mandai Road, the route serves the Singapore Civil Defence Academy – Mandai Training Village, Mandai Police Training Camp and the Police Tactical Training Camp.
Demand for this service is moderate on most days due to demand from industrial areas around Woodlands Road. On weekends and public holidays, demand is heavier as more commuters head to attractions at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve (Bird Paradise, Singapore Zoo, River Wonders and Night Safari) along Mandai Lake Road. Along with Service 138, this service provides bus connections to Mandai Lake Road daily.

Now that the construction at the zoo has been completed and Mandai Lake Road has been widened, is it now possible to deploy DDs/bendys on 927? I understand that 138 has fleet restrictions on Mandai Road, hence I think 927 would benefit from DDs/bendys since all of 927s sectors are in fact DD/bendy friendly.
Needs 927A which plys from cck to the zoo. Uses same operating hours as 138A
I disagree. Unlike 138, which also has a residential sector, 927’s primary job is to connect to the zoo. As such, there is no need for extra buses at night to head in the direction of the zoo, since any commuters using 927 past midnight would be travelling away from the zoo. As such, there is no need for a 927A at night.
