Keppel MRT Station (CC30) is a 20 meter deep underground station located along the Circle Line (CCL) Stage 6. It is built just off Keppel Road, bringing rail connectivity to both Keppel Distripark and future developments in the Keppel area.

The station is named after the nearby Keppel Harbour, named after Captain Henry Keppel who discovered the sheltered, deep water harbour. The Keppel Port area east of the station is planned to be redeveloped after 2030, once the container port is fully moved to Tuas Port. The future Greater Southern Waterfront region currently under planning will provide more options for city living.

Keppel is the next station to open! I’m most excited for new track crossings being made! So excited! Also, I think that, in the “Platforms and train services”, it shouldn’t say “via Marina Bay” because the next station is Cantonment, not Marina Bay.

Will a pedestrian walkway be constructed to connect to Kampong Bahru Road, which is on the other side of Keppel Distri Park? On the other side, there are Bt Purmei HDB estate, St Theresa’s Church, etc. Residents living in Bt Purmei, Telok Blangah Rise, Telok Blangah Way, Telok Blangah Crescent, Lower Delta Road, etc, are not able to access the MRT station that conveniently, given that there is no bus service that serves such areas that go to this MRT station.

maybe not, because the station between harbourfront and outram park may be Kampong Bahru.

Not economically justifiable. Kampong Bahru would either be too close to Keppel MRT, or too close to Outram Park MRT. It will be better if NE2 be interchange as Keppel MRT.

I think that NE2 will open soon, but not as an interchange station.
