Mount Pleasant Integrated Transport Hub is a future bus interchange planned to serve the upcoming Mount Pleasant housing estate.
The interchange is intended to be developed as part of a future neighbourhood centre within the estate. It will feature a direct connection to Mount Pleasant MRT Station along the Thomson-East Coast Line.
Plans
Plans for a new bus interchange at Mount Pleasant were first referenced in an HDB sales brochure for the Mount Pleasant Crest Build‑to‑Order (BTO) project, which was launched in October 2025.
Earlier indications of a neighbourhood centre at Mount Pleasant were also showcased during the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) My City, My Home Exhibition held in late 2023.
According to the URA Master Plan 2025, the neighbourhood centre is likely to form part of an integrated commercial and residential development. The site is expected to be located adjacent to the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and is currently marked as “subject to detailed planning” under the Master Plan. This proposed location also sits directly across the road from the Mount Pleasant Crest BTO development—just as referenced in the HDB sales brochure.

what bout feeder buses 821, 822, and replace 825 to this ith instead of yck int, 828 and 829
No need lah… the 200 and 300 series feeders still have 21X, 34X, 36X and 39X left unused… Mount Pleasant (if it even needs feeders) should receive the 21X feeder designation…
Actually no need to touch 230..Amend a few svc from TPY like 142 and I don’t know if svc 8 and St Mike’s 21 can amend here or not. Introduce two feeder svc here.
230 (and other toa payoh feeders) cant really amend here since its a feeder and mount pleasant doesnt seem to be inside of toa payoh town. but yet again they could always renumber 230 into something else (maybe 144) just like what they did with 944 when they wanted to extend it to tengah. other potential services here are 26, 73, 142, and maybe extend 871 here or something
The guide for Mount Pleasant Crest mentions Mount Pleasant being an “extension of Toa Payoh Town”, even though it’s currently a subzone under Novena Town. So there may be a chance they will retain the 23x numbering in any case they extend 230 or 235 here.
Though, Potong Pasir & Woodleigh also fall under the jurisdiction Toa Payoh Town, yet we have 142 & 148 which don’t follow the 23x numbering.
Real confusing how LTA defines our feeder numbering and where the boundaries are drawn
Anyways, 132 looks like a victim of a combined CRL/TEL Rationalisation in the future, making it a candidate to terminate in this ITH (unless LTA pulls off a similar strategy as 97 by extending it to better areas, like Kovan as mentioned by someone below)
please leave 132 as it is. the service is useful what 132 needs is to serve kovan hub and hougang ave 5 &7.. as for 506 honestly can have it to terminate at tampines central bus int. it can continue all the way expressway to tampines. if LTA does this 2 things. both this service will have strong loads.
most likely it will be 230 142 148 235 and the most surprising will be either 132 as many people said it is the worst of the packs or 506 as it is taken out of serangoon eunos bcm package next year and changed to clementi bcm package.
