Shuttle 2: Buona Vista—Boon Lay Shuttle Bus Service

Shuttle 2, or the Joo Koon—Buona Vista Shuttle Bus Service, is a Rail Replacement Service plying between Joo Koon and Buona Vista, serving en-route East West Line (EWL) stations.

The route will be activated to operate during selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in August & September 2018, when shortened operating hours are implemented on the North South & East West Line to facilitate more time for track maintenance and renewal work.

The Shuttle Bus Service serves the following MRT Stations:

• EW29 Joo Koon
• EW28 Pioneer
• EW27 Boon Lay
• EW26 Lakeside
• EW25 Chinese Garden
• EW24NS1 Jurong East
• EW23 Clementi
• EW22 Dover
• EW21CC22 Buona Vista

The Shuttle Bus Service will only operate on affected days in August & September 2018.

These Days are as follows:

• 3, 4, 5, 24, 25, 26 & 31 August 2018
• 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 & 30 September 2018

There will be no early closure or late opening of MRT Stations on the following weekends:
10 – 12 Aug, 17 – 19 Aug & 14 – 16 Sep.

• On days of Early Closure
  (3, 4, 24, 25 & 31 August, 1, 7, 8, 21, 22, 28 & 29 September 2018),
  buses will operate from the start time of the early closure till the stipulated last bus timings below.
• On days of Late Opening
  (4, 5, 25 & 26 August, 1, 2, 8, 9, 22, 23, 29 & 30 September 2018),
  buses will operate from the stipulated first bus timings below till the start time of normal train operations.
