This page refers to the December 2017 version of Shuttle 2.
The Jurong East—Joo Koon Shuttle Bus Service was a Rail Replacement Service plying between Jurong East and Joo Koon, serving en-route East West Line (EWL) stations.
The route was activated to operate on selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in December 2017, when shortened operating hours are implemented across sections of the NSL and EWL to facilitate more time for track maintenance and renewal work.
The Shuttle Bus Service served the following MRT Stations:
- EW24NS1 Jurong East
- EW25 Chinese Garden
- EW26 Lakeside
- EW27 Boon Lay
- EW28 Pioneer
- EW29 Joo Koon

The Shuttle Bus Service will only operate on affected days in December. These Days are: 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 & 31 December.
- On days of Early Closure (8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30 Dec), buses will operate from the start time of the early closure till the stipulated last bus timings below.
- On days of Late Opening (9, 16, 23, 24, 30 & 31 Dec), buses will operate from the stipulated first bus timings below till the start time of normal train operations.
- The Shuttle Buses will operate for the entire day on Full Closure days (10 & 17 Dec).
