Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange (WTBI) is the most prominent example of a round-the-clock contraflow bus lane that only allows public buses to travel counter-clockwise/anti-clockwise within the bus interchange section of Woodlands Square at all times as all other vehicles can only travel clockwise around Woodlands Square without risking a bus lane fine.
There is no space in Woodlands ITH.
To put it simply, “space” in an interchange would be defined by **parking space**, not berth space. Since if you don’t have space to park a bus, the service won’t be there in the first place to take up a berth.
So for 925/M, 950, 961/M, 965 & 967…
Selected ones would migrate to Woodlands North in the future, possibly 925 & 967.
950 is staying in Woodlands Central, no matter what.
961 might migrate into WITH in place of 960 to Woodlands North, due to runtime restrictions
As for 965… we’ll see, since it looks like it’s destined for WITH with its upcoming amendment.
WTBI is already confirmed to be redeveloped as per plans from URA DMP50, its just a matter of when.
There IS space at WITH(woodlands) for: Berth B1(2 svc a),B6(1 svc),B7(1 svc),B8(3 svcs),B12(1 svc),B13(1 svc) and B14(1 svc)
I had to Put WITH(woodlands) Because there is a WITH(woodleigh)
i suggest we move 925/M. 950, 961/M, 965/A/T and 967 to the woodlands ith
no space
Yes there is. There are a few berth spaces at selected parts of Woodlands ITH. All services should amend there & Temporary ITH should just close & the space can be redeveloped.
Yeah, for that Berth Allocation can be:
B6:967
B8:965,950,925M
B12:961M
B13:925
B14:961
