Temporary rail replacement services (LRT Shuttle Bus Services) serving the entire Bukit Panjang LRT network were operated across Sunday mornings from 12 November 2017 to 31 December 2017 to facilitate later Bukit Panjang LRT train service commencement times.
The rail replacement service operated in lieu of the later opening of BPLRT stations to facilitate more time for engineering staff to expedite the renewal of ageing track infrastructure such as rail mounting frames and rail expansion joints on the BPLRT network.
As such, Bukit Panjang LRT train services commenced operations at 0700hrs on the following Sundays:
November | 12, 19 & 26 | December | 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 |
Affected Bukit Panjang LRT stations were:
- BP1NS4 Choa Chu Kang
- BP2 South View
- BP3 Keat Hong
- BP4 Teck Whye
- BP5 Phoenix
- BP6DT1 Bukit Panjang
- BP7 Petir
- BP8 Pending
- BP9 Bangkit
- BP10 Fajar
- BP11 Segar

Hi, i forgot my bag in 382G just now…but when I realise that the bus had gone….
I took a lrt shuttle service B from bangkit to segar. Bus plate was not complete ending with 1029A. A Chinese driver do not even stop at segar lrt station or designated segar lrt shuttle bus should stop. He insisted it’s infront which is already jelapang station and to my surprise he wanted to stop me near greenridge primary school which is even not a route of lrt. I told him why are you not stopping at segar lrt which is a traffic light behind. He keep pointing infront and I keep telling him infront is jelapang not segar. Please educate your bus shuttle service where is the stop and understand simple english. If I can learn simple mandarin, I do not expect them to understand Malay but understand English. It’s a universal language. Very disappointed. Plus, my ride to bangkit from segar was free shuttle despite asking the driver. And coming back with proud he ans tab your card. By tapping my card and you do not even know where is the stop that’s too much. Even after pressing the bell also you don’t stop really surprised me. Please understand English.
This Is The Same As The Downtown Line Late Opening In May 2017.
