On 7/11/2017 at around 1055 Hrs, I took bus service No. 106 Registration number SMB3546H from Bus Stop No. 03071 (Opp The Ogilvy Ctr). The Bus Captain Mr Kumar was polite and greeted me good morning. I got down at Bus stop No. 08031 (Dhoby Ghaut Stn) at around 1120 hrs where i left my hand-phone in the bus. I took a cab down to Bt Batok Interchange hoping that my hand-phone will be still in the bus without any one stealing it due to the CCTV installed. I proceed to the Passenger Service Counter where i spoke to Mr Zainal ID: 11207 and to Mr Siong ID: 10611 explain the situation. They proceed to do the necessary actions by asking me questions to find where is the bus currently and what is the ETA to the interchange. Once the bus arrived at the interchange when to check with the bus Captain and thank god my Hand-phone Found. I was so much Thankful to Mr Kumar. I would like to thank all three of them for their sincerity. Good Job.
1. This morning Service 106, bus registration number SMB3518P had 4 standing passengers on the upper deck whom they boarded at the Holland Village bus stop. They were standing all the way to bus stop at Gleneagles.
Please remind the bus captains to constantly view their CCTVs especially when the bus is crowded.
2. It’s been a month since Tower Transit has taken over this Service 106. But I hae yet to see any positive improvement in the schedules. At worst, I see a 106A arriving at the bus stop and a 106 arriving less than a minute(depending on traffic light signals). Then when I boarded this 106, after some distance along Commonwealth Ave West, there’ll be another 106 overtaking and thereafter these two 106s will be taking turns to trail each other. I board service 106 at bus stop 20109, block 203 daily just before 8am.
