Service 114 is a residential trunk route linking the housing estates at Buangkok Crescent to the transport node of Buangkok MRT station & Bus Interchange.
The route primarily benefits residents along Buangkok Link and Buangkok Crescent, offering convenient access to Buangkok MRT station. The estate was previously served by Bus Services 101 and 329, both of which connected to Hougang MRT station.
Buses used to layover at Compassvale Bus Interchange prior to its amendment to start and end at Buangkok Bus Interchange with its opening on 1 December 2024.
Extension to Yio Chu Kang
As part of an update on the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP) by the Land Transport Authority in October 2025, Service 114 is planned to be extended to Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange by end-2025. This will take effect from 28 Dec 2025.
The extended route would see changes to the stopping points for Service 114 along Buangkok Crescent & Buangkok Link.
In addition, the extended routing provides enhanced connectivity for Buangkok and Sengkang West residents to Yio Chu Kang MRT, Seletar Mall & Fernvale Community Centre and Hawker Centre.
Cancelled Service 101 Extension to Buangkok MRT Station
Originally planned as a route extension for Service 101 from Buangkok Crescent to Buangkok MRT station to take effect from 11 October 2020, the amendment was cancelled following feedback raised by commuters. In particular, concerned was raised regarding the skipping of two bus stops along Buangkok Link as part of the amendment.
In lieu of this planned route extension, Service 114 was introduced from Buangkok MRT Station to loop at Buangkok Crescent instead. No changes were made to existing Bus Services 101 and 329.

Can merge this route with 329
Possible extension to Yio Chu Kang int after the Buangkok Dr extension to YCK Rd is completed in about 2 years time? This will provide a connection to the NSL at YCK MRT for Buangkok Cres & some Fernvale residents, as an alternative to NEL.
We could do this extension right now using Buangkok Green and AMK Ave 5, also supplementing 72 which has extremely high demand in that sector.
I mean ur correct after it turns left from buangkok dr, it can just turn right onto cres and folow until end of the road, and then continue to buangkok link and then turn right to buangkok green and then follow 72 until AMK Ave 8, then it follows 45, and then goes at the AMK Ave 6 rndabt and the go towards yck int
Wished granted and just announce the extension today via media to YCK INT in Nov 2025
Why no service guides for this service ?
Maybe we have to wait for some time. At first 971 did not have service guides until january 2022 when smrt decided to print service guides for service 971. Maybe somethin similar will happen with 114
I dont think so. sbs stopped putting service guides on buses since 2020.
Do they have service guides for service 114? If so, where can I find them?
remove the dd for goodness sake, very wasted to put dd on this service. put on good use better
Yes, should redeploy all DD from service 114 to service 103, since service 103 load is heavier even during off peak hrs. Sometime after school hrs on weekday, it even impossible to board too
To be honest, they should’ve gone with the 101 extension.
But since there were opposition on the 101 route extension, a full SD fleet roster will better suit Service 114, with higher frequencies instead of DD buses for just a short distance and generally low frequencies
