SBS Transit Bus Service 114 is a trunk route between Buangkok and Yio Chu Kang, passing through Buangkok Drive, Buangkok Link, Fernvale, Sengkang West and Yio Chu Kang Road.
Service 114 was extended to Yio Chu Kang Int from 28 Dec 2025.

Service 114 is a residential trunk route linking the housing estates at Sengkang West, Fernvale and Buangkok Crescent to the transport nodes at Yio Chu Kang and Buangkok.
The original route within Buangkok estate primarily benefits residents along Buangkok Link and Buangkok Crescent, offering convenient access to Buangkok MRT station. The estate was previously served by Bus Services 101 and 329, both of which connected to Hougang MRT station.
During weekday peak hours, additional trips are operated between Buangkok Int and Buangkok Estate as Service 114A till Blk 991B, then as Service 114 from Opp Blk 991B to Buangkok Int.
Buses used to layover at Compassvale Bus Interchange prior to its amendment to start and end at Buangkok Bus Interchange with its opening on 1 December 2024.
Brief History
Cancellation of Bus Service 101 amendment
To connect Buangkok Crescent housing estates with Buangkok MRT station, LTA announced in September 2020 that it planned to extend Bus Service 101 to Buangkok MRT, which would take effect from 11 October 2020.
However, the route extension was cancelled by the Land Transport Authority on 2 October 2020, following feedback from commuters and grassroots representatives. In particular, concerns were raised regarding the skipping of two bus stops along Buangkok Link as part of the amendment.

As a result, the planned amendment to Bus Service 101 was cancelled. Instead, LTA introduced a new service, Bus Service 114, from Buangkok MRT Station to loop at Buangkok Crescent. The new route was launched on 25 October 2020.
Extension to Yio Chu Kang
The LTA revealed in October 2025 that by end-2025, it intended to extend Bus Service 114 to Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP). This took effect from 28 Dec 2025.
The extended route would see changes to the stopping points for Service 114 along Buangkok Crescent & Buangkok Link. In addition, the extended routing provides enhanced connectivity for Buangkok and Sengkang West residents to Yio Chu Kang MRT, Seletar Mall & Fernvale Community Centre and Hawker Centre.

Seems that 114 are now switching to mainly Citaros for their single deck fleets, as well as the usual DDs. Hardly see any K230UBs on 114 since Sat.
Not sure for whatever reason SWD is not deploying their EV fleets to 114.
It is really a shame that this service after route extension to YCK gets all the old single deck fleets from SWD thrown over there. Had expected the BYDs and ZT to be deployed onto this service instead, since this bus service also comes under Sengkang Hougang bus package.
