Service 143 is a major inter-town & city route connecting Jurong East, West Coast, Pasir Panjang and Toa Payoh to the Central areas of HarbourFront, Chinatown and Orchard. Providing important links between Toa Payoh, Chinatown and HarbourFront, the route is also the only to serve both Teban Gardens and Pandan Gardens, making it a less favorable option between Jurong East and West Coast. The route experiences generally high demand during many parts of day owing to the multiple connections it provides.

Should shorten to loop at Pandan Gardens just like 143M, and 143M can discontinue and replace with 143
since there is many bus from Jurong East to Pasir Panjang, Vivo City, Chinatown, Orchard, Novena and Toa Payoh
Saw a Alexander Dennis Enviro500 on service 143 today
(With SMRT livery)
On 30 July 2017 21:21 I board bus 143 no 5035 from Jurong East Interchange. I was sitting near to the exit entrance. I was shocked to see few small cockroaches moving around. I managed to kill two during my 30 minutes trip. I was a very uncomfortable. I hope the company will take serious action on this issue.
I am Mr Sim, I reach the bus stop about 0918hrs according to my handphone timing at C K Tang bus stop. I was the bus 143 stop picking up the passenger and I was about 50 meter away only . I ran and raise up my hand , the bus driver saw me running towards his bus. He quickly closed the door and just drive away. Is it that is the service attitude today of the bus driver. I hope that there is a impoverishment on this . That is very bad !!!! Get the bus driver to be responsible okay. I want him to be punishonest for his baddress attitude. If not I will be putting up some photos and videos record on the Facebook.
Put lor. Sick and tired of people like you chasing the bus, ended up delaying. Because you chase the bus, ended up the back bus able to catch up and you force the bus to get stuck at the lights. Self-entitled. Because you chase the bus, you made all the people in the bus forced to wait for you. Have you ever wonder why some people give you that death stare and annoyed look?
If it’s the last bus, totally fine, but it’s not even the last bus for your scenario. Can’t you just be courteous and wait for the next one or plan your journey well (Checking bus arrival time beforehand, and speed up walking if you think you are able to make it).
143 have SMB3512E on Sunday, but its on other je svcs too
