Short Trip Service 33B is a trunk service operating from Bedok Bus Interchange and ends at Old Airport Road (Blk 22) on Weekdays, except Public Holidays.
As a Short-Trip Service, the route operates during Weekday Morning Peak hours and supplements the high demand for Service 33 from residents along Changi Road and Joo Chiat Place travelling to Dakota MRT Station and Old Airport Road Food Centre.
Former Service 33B
Short Trip Service 33B was initially introduced from Bedok Interchange to Joo Chiat Place (Aft Tembeling Rd) on 9 August 2009, operating only on Sundays which fall on the 1st & 15th day of the Lunar Calendar to supplement the high demand for Service 33 from Bedok to places of worship in the Joo Chiat area.
It was observed that Service 33B no longer operates since the full transition to the Bus Contracting Model on 1 September 2016. However, route details for Service 33B were still available on MyTransport.sg as well as on printed Service Guides for Service 33 up till 2019, when the new short trip service details were announced.
