SBS Transit Bus Service 46 is a trunk service plying between Upper East Coast and Pasir Ris. It travels via Bedok South, Bedok North, Tampines West and Tampines North. Service 46 commenced operations on 12 June 2016 as the 65th route under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

Service 46 connects the residential towns of Tampines West, Bedok North, Bedok South and Tampines North. Unlike more recent BSEP-introduced routes, Service 46 was not wheelchair-accessible at introduction. It was finally designated a wheelchair-accessible bus service on 21 Aug 2017.
In end-October 2022, the service was extended to Pasir Ris via the new residential estate in Tampines North.

- 2017 (24 Dec): Amended to ply via Tampines Central 8 & Tampines Concourse towards Tampines Int
- 2022 (30 Oct): Extended to Pasir Ris via Tampines North
- 2025 (27 Apr): Amended to Pasir Ris Integrated Transport Hub
- 2025 (31 Aug): Skips the bus stop outside Kew Green Condo along Upp East Coast Rd towards Upp East Coast Ter
- 2025 (26 Oct): Serves a new pair of bus stops outside and Opp Blk 961A along Bedok Reservoir Rd

Hi Norman, were you bus spotting at either Tampines Int or Upper East Coast Ter so you knew there was 6 A/P and 1 split shift
4 double deckers and 3 single deckers,Susupect will be 6 A/P and 1 split shift duties
If you have many schools and markets ,better put an man a24 and that will settle everything. use those from smrt and paint it into sbstransit
