The longest SBS Transit routes in Singapore.
I have recorded the 502 NDP diversion route on run tracker. The diversion route turns out to be Bras Basah Road, Victoria Street, Hill Street, High Street, New Bridge Road, Upper Pickering Street, Pickering Street, Church Street, Finlayson Green, Raffles Quay, Raffles Quay, Shenton Way. Bus no call along diverted route. Just run express between Bras Basah Road and Shenton Way.
I am frequent passenger for bus 502A in the morning and I would like to suggest if the bus company can use those buses which has more seats or double decker as I observe that the bus is always full of people standing.
Because I personally find that for express bus to move around expressway is like not always smooth as there will be traffic jam so sometime bus driver may need to brake suddenly and that it create danger for passenger who are standing.
Secondly is the cost we pay for express bus is more expensive than normal feeder bus but why we got no seat at all?
This is what I personal suggestion and hope my suggestion will be appreciated.
you are paying to skip bus stops and travel to you destination faster, not for seats. you want seats take Premium Service
Oh yeah, so what are those real express buses in Hong Kong?
there are bunches of express services which are much faster than that of Singapore (of course, there are lots of seats as all of them are DDs 🙂
I hope Service 502 will be extended back to Sengkang
Not possible already, look at 502 now, they are serving MBS, Downtown/Marina Bay Station and CBD area, is it possible to go back Sengkang? Answer is no. Take note that 502 don’t serve PIE anymore
