The duration of the whole ride of 502 will take about 3 hours and 10 minutes, approximately 190 minutes if there is traffic. I just observed and rode SMB1493P yesterday (13 July) on the bus for the full ride again from Soon Lee around 5.45pm and I realized it takes 15 minutes more than the original travelling time finishing the route around 8.55pm to 9pm
2 years ago, I also took 502 full loop but the timing is different. If I recall correctly, if no traffic jam or whatever, 10 minutes lesser than the original travelling time which is 165 minutes
So I guess this service travelling time will take longer than 858 to ride the full trip even though 858 is the longest route
Express 502 actually ammended to serve PIE after serving the Boon Lay Drive stop instead of going on the primary road to Orchard last week.
This made the trip faster and the service more ‘expressy’. Good job SBS.
You probably took 502A
