Extension of Bus Service 181 to Tengah / New Short Trip Service 181A
SMRT Bus Service 181 will be converted to a bi-directional service and extended to Tengah Bus Interchange under the Land Transport Authority’s Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP) from Sunday 14 June 2026.
The extended route would be via:
- Bulim Walk
- Bulim Drive
- Tengah Boulevard
In addition, Service 181 will continue to operate during operating hours of Service 181M during school weekday mornings.
Service 181A
New Short Trip Service 181A will commence operations from Monday 15 June 2026, operating from Boon Lay Int and terminating at Jurong West Avenue 3 (Blk 276B) during weekday evening peak hours.
Service 181M
Operating Hours for Service 181M from Boon Lay Int will be extended by 15 mins on School Term Weekdays, effective Sunday 14 June 2026. The first day of revised operating hours for the school term commences on Monday 29 June 2026.
