Causeway Link Bus Service CW7L

Causeway Link CW7L is a bus service operated by Malaysian bus operator Handal Indah, plying between Hotel Ramada Meridin JB and CIQ Second Link.

The route primarily serves cross-border passengers to and from Singapore, with through-ticketing offered on Causeway Link’s other services across the Tuas Second Link (CW3, CW4, CW4S, CW6, CW7).

Service CW7L is a supplementary route connecting Hotel Ramada with the Sultan Abu Bakar CIQ Complex (more commonly referred to as CIQ Second Link). Introduced on 29 February 2016, the route improves bus connections between the Hotel Ramada/CI Medini/Mall Of Medini/Legoland areas of Nusajaya with Singapore via the Second Link. The route is a short variant of Causeway Link CW7 (Route pre-2022: Hotel Ramada – Tuas Link MRT Station) which does not cross the border.

Passengers can transfer to other cross-border bus services (Service CW3, CW4, CW4S, CW6, CW7) to Jurong East, Boon Lay or Tuas Link. As a local bus route, buses will serve all en-route bus stops along their route.

Through-ticketing is available to and from Singapore. With a valid ticket at Tuas Second Link, passengers travelling towards Singapore can board CW3, CW4, CW4S to Jurong East, CW6 to Boon Lay or CW7 to Tuas Link.

Sector-based fares

Fares are charged separately for each sector of the journey. Each sector is recorded through a tap-in, with the applicable fare deducted based on the sector travelled. Tap out is required if travelling on the local sector only.

  Single-journey tickets can be purchased through the LUGO App. A QR code is generated upon purchase and must be scanned at the bus validator when boarding.

• 2016 (29 Feb): Introduced between CIQ 2nd Link and Mall of Medini
• 2019 (26 Feb): Bus stop at Mall of Medini driveway relocated to bus stop pair along the main road of Persiaran Medini (in-between Mall of Medini and Somerset Medini)
• 2019 (15 Jul): Free Wi-Fi offered
• 2019 (01 Aug): Route terminus shifted to Hotel Ramada by Wyndham Meridin Johor Bahru (along Jalan Legoland)
• 2020 (01 Jan): Additional stop at CI Medini (along Persiaran Medini Sentral 4)
• 2023 (01 Jan): Service resumption after suspension; bus stop at Mall of Medini / Legoland relocated to the bus station ‘Legoland,Persisiran Medini’.
• 2023 (02 Jun): Additional stop at Sunway Big Box (along Persiaran Medini 5)
• 2023 (03 Jul): Schedule adjustment: reduced to 1-hour headway and no mid-day service
• 2023 (01 Nov): Amended to skip CI Medini; reinstated to full day service
• 2026 (14 Jan): First bus timing from CIQ 2nd Link changed from 05:30 to 07:30
