Bendemeer MRT Station (DT23) is an underground station along the Downtown Line (DTL) Stage 3. It is built underneath the road of Kallang Bahru, at the junction with Kallang Avenue, and serves the surrounding Kallang Bahru industrial estate.
The station is named after Bendemeer Road a short distance away, despite being located underneath the road and the industrial estate of Kallang Bahru.
The station is built in close proximity to industrial buildings within the Kallang Bahru industrial estate, as well as the shophouses and commercial buildings around Lavender Street.

Construction
Downtown Line Stage 3 Contract 933 for the construction and completion of Bendemeer Station and associated tunnels was awarded to Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd for approximately S$215.24 million in August 2011.
During the construction of Bendemeer station, Kallang Bahru road was curved eastward to avoid the construction site.
