Service 10 is a trunk route spanning East and West, connecting the housing estates and suburbs of Tampines, Upper East Coast, East Coast and Pasir Panjang with the City areas of HarbourFront, Shenton Way and Nicoll Highway. Much of its current route has been retained ever since the 1970s.
Weekday peak-hour demand is strong, with many residents at East Coast and Old Airport relying on this service and its Express variant (10e) to commute between home and the Shenton Way business district. Demand between Kent Ridge and the CBD is weaker. Before the opening of the Circle Line Stage 4/5, this service was highly popular for students of NUS, commuting between HarbourFront and Kent Ridge.
Off-peak demand is moderate to weak, mostly from shuttling residents between HarbourFront, East Coast, Upper East Coast and Tampines. Weekend frequencies are generally poor as SBS Transit adds resources preferentially to Service 14, which also plies East Coast but connects to the Orchard shopping district.

Bus 10 might be amended following CCL stage 6. Already served by CCL in the central area. Maybe loop at North Canal Rd from Kent Ridge Terminal. 10e will be withdrawn. 10 may serve full single-deck fleet.
For TEL4 rationalisation Service 10 may be in danger since its prioritised demand area is the East Coast. The most in danger is 10e as well. I think if want to retain the link to Tampines, just allow 10 to travel along ECP via Still Rd South, then travel on Xilin Ave.
I agree. From tampines to suntec there is 518 and take downtown mrt line. From tampines to the financial district can take 513, downtown mrt line, east west mrt line.
