Service 7A is a trunk service operating from Bedok Interchange to Orchard MRT Station along Orchard Boulevard, via Eunos, Geylang Serai, Guillemard Road, Bugis and Dhoby Ghaut. As a Short-Trip Service operating daily, the route supplements the existing Service 7 with additional City-bound trips for commuters at Bedok, Eunos, Geylang and Guillemard.
After terminating at Orchard Blvd (Orchard Stn Exit 13), Service 7A buses will turn around and perform return trips of Bus Service 7 towards Bedok Bus Interchange, starting from Orchard Road (Delfi Orchard).
Introduced on 25 February 2018 together with Service 7B, Service 7A is wheelchair-accessible at launch.
Operating hours were adjusted from 22 Dec 2019;
Prior to 22 Dec 2019 from Bedok:
- 0600hrs – 2245hrs (Weekdays)
0600hrs – 2230hrs (Weekends & Public Holidays)
In 2021, Service 7A had its operations reduced to just 4 trips on weekdays & 3 on weekends.

Service 7A is always empty there is always no one there at least it’s quiet.
Hope Short Trip 7A should be withdrawn due to low demand.
