Service 968 is an upcoming bus service operating from Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange to support the opening of the RTS Link Woodlands North station.
This service will be introduced under the LTA’s Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP), a ~$900 million government scheme that funds the purchase of new buses, infrastructural improvements, and operating costs of new bus services between 2024–2032.
Details for the service were announced as part of the BCEP update by LTA in September 2026.

Operating from Woodlands Temp Int, Service 968 connects residents to Woodlands North, Woodlands South, and Admiralty MRT stations.

bus service 666 can be renumbered to either 1, 108 or 126.
bus service 683 can extend its hours till 9 or 10am.
bus service 967 can extend to Punggol coast.
Interestingly, the wording in LTA’s recent social media posts suggests that 968 may be introduced on the same day as 873/M and 874…
If this is really an extension of 901M like many are speculating in the comments, I suggest this could be a closed loop service, like 410G/W and 831G/W… this is bcos wdls, wdls south, admiralty, & wdls north mrt stations, if connected by this new 968, all line up quite neatly in a circle. So we might see 968G and 968W services? clockwise direction for wdls-north-bound, anticlockwise for wdls-south-bound.
So this service serve Woodlands North bus stop twice or what?
