- 2001 (29 Jul): Extended to Sengkang Temp Int; First bus from Clementi Int brought forward to 0530 hrs on weekdays and Saturdays
- 2003 (18 Jan): Amended to Sengkang Integrated Transport Hub
- 2006 (29 Oct): Amended to Clementi Temp Int
- 2011 (04 Sep): Serves new bus stop outside Botanic Gdns Stn along Bt Timah Rd
- 2011 (26 Sep): Designated wheelchair-accessible bus service (WAB)

It’s become a hassle for me to go to Sengkang Polyclinic from Yio Chu Kang Road after the amendment. Pls look into putting a Bus service to serve the elderly going for their monthly consultations
Then how does Sengkang/compassvale resident get to Clementi whereby don’t have a direct bus to Clementi/bukit Timah area whereby 156 have already shifted to Buangkok int
Hopefully LTA put one new service from Sengkang interchange to Clementi interchange to replace service 156 for those staying in Sengkang and Compassvale area
Because of the amendment I have to take 3 buses just to get to work. LTA please revert this!
Why use 156 to go to buangkok interchange? Why not 159? At hougang already got 161 that goes to compass 1
Another funny planning to put 156 under Clementi where 60% of the route is within Hougang proximity areas..Who the hell in LTA plan for this?Unless they got plan to shorten 156 in future..
Sengkang-Hougang got too many by the way, unlike Clementi have very few services when organising. So is useful for Clementi Package to be 156 by the way….. 165 has the reason to be in Sengkang-Hougang.
From what I heard, 156 may be shortened to Buangkok. As such, putting 156 as Clementi Package is more wiser choice.
