Service 136 serves as a residential route between Ang Mo Kio, Serangoon Gardens, Upper Serangoon Road, Sengkang East (Rivervale) and Punggol East (Edgefield). The route is unique in having a u-turn at Upper Serangoon Road in the direction of Ang Mo Kio. Despite its unique inter-town route segments, demand remains moderate to low during off-peak hours; however, it still benefits from student demand from various schools in Sengkang and Punggol.
This service calls at Serangoon Garden Circus twice in different directions, i.e. towards Punggol Int and towards Ang Mo Kio Int. Look out for the Electronic Display Sign (EDS) on buses which indicate the direction of travel.

I want to complain bus 136 today 13:56pm the bus never stop even though he saw us running and few step in the bus stop,that was bus stop but he never..bus stop 67139. North spring pre school bus stop..I believe his heart is not to service people…

I would like to complain on one of your bus captain of service 136. It was 6.45am when the bus arrives at bus stop(64409). He was the second bus at the bus stop. As I was walking towards the bus, with my two kids, 7 and 3, he was already about to overtake the bus in front of him to move off. He saw me flagged the bus with my two kids in tow and yet he still did not stopped for me even though he is still within the bis bay. He just shooked his head and drove off. By the time the next bus came it was 6.57am. Due to his actions, my son was late for school. And I am truly unhappy with the experience.

I did not get his name thou.
But, he is a living example to follow.
I board the bus at around 4.27pm and was greeted by his board and courteous smile followed by a good afternoon greetings etc.
I do hope that more and more drivers can follow him as an excellent example.

But, I just wanted to bring this to attention.
Do give him some sort of encouragement to continue his beautiful service to us.
