City Direct Service 665 provides residents of Marsiling and Woodlands South with greater connectivity to the CBD. The service provides a travel alternative for commuters who relied on the rail network and feeder buses to and from work. The route incorporates an express sector between Woodlands Ave 1 and Orchard Rd via SLE & CTE.

This is the fifteenth City Direct service to be introduced under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), which provides more options for commuters using stretches of the existing rail lines that experience persistently high ridership, while the ongoing rail enhancement measures are being implemented.

With the introduction of City Direct 665, Express Service 951E was amended to serve Woodlands Ave 5, skipping Woodlands Ave 1 and part of Woodlands Ave 4.

may i know why is there a queue at blk 894C? i see no signage or railing for queue. Its a public bus, bus stop is not crowded, the bus stop is mean for public buses. Or are those people waiting for private buses?

For City Direct and Peak Hour Express Services, commuters may form a queue themselves at the bus stop as an act of mutual understanding of the first-come-first-served basis. Moreover, City Direct 665 has very limited seats on board as the fleet was downsized from a private bus to a public bus.

Can LTA also consider the bus capacity when changing bus operator? The bus used by Tower transit is not able to cater to the ever increasing number of passengers. Please change to double deck bus ASAP. Don’t make us stand for 1 hr in our daily trip back and forth to work.

Please change to double decker for goodness sake. The previous private bus provider is so much better.

Can Tower Transit change to double decker fleets? Reason is because it was always so pack in the 1st am and 1st pm trip. Can’t even get in the bus.

Beside, any possibilities to add more earlier am trip? (example 7:00am, 7:05am)
Those who alight in Shenton way always late at work (start work 8:30am).

    Thanks.

Goodbye to City Direct for now, Bus Hub. Good day, Tower Transit.

Well, frankly speaking, I’m expecting Go-Ahead for City Direct, preferably 661
