The correct way should be: The route shares its popular Tiong Bahru – Bras Basah connection with Service 33 and 63, and also shares long duplicating sectors with Service 852 and 853/853M between Yishun–Marymount and Yishun–Ang Mo Kio respectively.
I saw a Mercedes Benz Chitra o on 851 today
Today is also
I saw a man a95 at United square on 851
Congrats to SBS TRANSIT for taking over service 851
But I am disappointed that majority of bus fleet consists of single deckers and hardly any double deckers to be seen!!
Please try to deploy more double deckers as what formerly Smrt buses did!!
Back then, SMRT 851 also like that, SMRT also have majority of single decker buses and few double decker buses/bendies back then. SBS Transit currently have 7 double decker buses, otherwise Yishun would also favour themselves by taking 851e
Service 851 have Alexander Dennis Enviro 500. I saw 3 of them. First, (I’m not exactly sure when) I saw SMB 3586S on social media(In Instagram). Secondly, this afternoon around 12:25pm at Henderson Road block 116 I saw SMB 3591B. ( currently, from service 985) Thirdly, around 6:45pm at Tiong bahru plaza(opposite) I saw SMB 5075L. All 3 were heading towards Bukit Merah Bus Interchange.
