Shuttle 1: Jurong East—Outram Park Shuttle Bus Service

The Outram Park—Jurong East Shuttle Bus Service is a Rail Replacement Service plying between Outram Park and Jurong East, serving en-route East West Line (EWL) stations.

The route was activated to operate on selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in December 2017, when shortened operating hours are implemented across sections of the NSL and EWL to facilitate more time for track maintenance and renewal work.

The December 2017 variant of Shuttle 1 served the following MRT Stations:

• EW16NE3 Outram Park
• EW17 Tiong Bahru
• EW18 Redhill
• EW19 Queenstown
• EW20 Commonwealth
• EW21CC22 Buona Vista
• EW22 Dover
• EW23 Clementi

The Shuttle Bus Service operated on affected days in December. These Days are: 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 & 31 December.

• On days of Early Closure (8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30 Dec), buses operated from the start time of the early closure till the stipulated last bus timings below.
• On days of Late Opening (9, 16, 23, 24, 30 & 31 Dec), buses operated from the stipulated first bus timings below till the start time of normal train operations.
• The Shuttle Buses operated for the entire day on Full Closure days (10 & 17 Dec).
