Early Closures & Late Openings (ECLO) along the entire Downtown Line (DTL), between Bukit Panjang and Expo, will take place across nine consecutive Fridays & Saturdays between 10 July 2026 and 4 September 2026.

According to SBS Transit and LTA, these train service adjustments are needed to conduct final systems integration tests for the DTL, including running trains across the entire line from Bukit Panjang to Xilin stations, and launching and withdrawing trains from the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID).
The Downtown Line Stage 3 Extension will see the DTL extended by two stations: DT36 Xilin and DT37TE31 Sungei Bedok. It is projected to open in 2H 2026.

Shuttles 41, 42, & 43 will be provided on Late Opening days only (affected Saturdays). Fares for the Shuttle Bus Services are equivalent to the distance travelled by train.
