SMRT Bus Service 110 is a trunk service operating between Buangkok and Changi Airport via Sengkang West. The route commenced operations on 22 October 2017, serving the then new Changi Airport Terminal 4 which opened on 31 October 2017.
Bus Service 110 is a trunk service from Buangkok to Changi Airport, mainly serving residential estates in Sengkang and transfer passengers at Tampines Expressway (Bef / Aft Punggol Rd) Transfer Stop with direct connections to Changi Airport and vice versa. The route complements the existing Service 858 for the key link between the TPE (Punggol) Transfer Stop and Changi Airport, via a long express sector along TPE and PIE. On the other hand, Service 27 and 34 between TPE and Changi Airport takes a longer route through Tampines.
The route also calls at Changi Airport Terminal 4 Bus Stand in addition to the basement bus stands of three existing terminals, joining Service 24, 34 and 36 at the then newly-opened Terminal 4. It also serves neighbourhood amenities such as Sengkang Sports Complex and Sengkang General Hospital.
The route commenced operations on Sunday, 22 October 2017, a week before Terminal 4’s official opening date of 31 October 2017. It is the second SMRT Busesbus service after Service 858 to serve Changi Airport.
Service 110 is the second service to operate out of Compassvale Bus Interchange, after Service 374. With the closure of Compassvale Int from 1 Dec 2024, Service 110 was amended to Buangkok Int.
Changi Airport:
Service 110 serves Changi Airport Terminals 3, 1, 2 & 4 in order.
Changi Airport Passenger Terminal Buildings (PTBs) 1, 2 and 3 have their bus stops integrated into their basement levels, which also serves as a cargo loading and unloading bay. Security checks for any unattended or suspicious articles are carried out before a bus enters Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Bus Captains may take a short toilet break at Terminal 2. Because of height restrictions, double-decker buses are unable to enter Changi Airport basement.
Occasionally when Changi Airport basement is closed, buses will be diverted to T1/T2/T3 Departure Drive where a temporary bus stop will be set up.
Announcements for passengers to inform the Bus Captain if they see any suspicious person or article are played onboard public buses at Changi Airport as well.

Route History:
2017 (22 Oct): Service launched between Compassvale and Changi Airport (Loop). Allocated to Sembawang–Yishun Bus Package; wheelchair-accessible at launch.
2021 (01 Sep): Transferred to Woodlands Bus Package from Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package
2024 (01 Dec): Amended to Buangkok Integrated Transport Hub with the closure of Compassvale Int
Instead of TPE, can service 110 take PIE en route Bedok North Road & Tampines Ave 10 as connecting service for Woodlands, Sengkang, Punggol, Yishun and Bedok commuters. Thank you.
tho there isnt a slip road to PIE from Bedok North Road if I’m seeing the way you want to go…
plus, 110 also prob needs to be express to airport for Aft Punggol Rd demand previously by 858 only.
As of today there are now 4 MAN NL323F Euro V that perms 110(1 Batch 1, 2 Batch 2 & 1 Batch 3) as well as 1 SMRT Citaro(SMB185K). Its nice that 110 is getting a variety of bus models, i believe 110 has a fleet of 13 buses before but now they added a additional bus. Anyways 4 110 Citaros recently went missing in action and is stated in sgwiki as “N.A”…and i think they arent in wldep either so these are my speculations.
1. Those MAN NL323FS are there temp till those 4 Citaros(1185, 86, 87 & 88) comes back, maybe they get repainted into smrt new livery?
2. Maybe those 4 Citaros are being transfered to SBS for more Scanias due to de registered? I mean those buses are still in sbs livery for a while now. If those 4 Citaros are indeed to be remove from SMRT Fleet, they will be left with 9 SBS spec citaros which are the SG169X Series and ofc their original spec citaros.
*Land transport guru needs to add MAN NL323F to the page, since its likely a perm to 110, i honestly dont know if the 4 Citaros will returned or not*
brother…. there are reasons why kjdep transfer their a22s to replace the 4 last remaining 1185-1188 citaro… of course they in sbst livery, kena go to SBST to make up for the k230ub’s
But then why did smrt return two of their sbs spec citaro which btw have already been repainted to their own livery(smrt)? These two are SG1691 & SG1692? I mean they have already been repainted to smrt livery, might as well let smrt keep them. They can choose to transfer out those SG plated MAN A22 E5 in SMRT WLDEP. I mean i guess those buses would eventually return to sbs but those SG1691-1699 are literally the only sbs spec citaros repainted to smrt livery, why repaint them in the first place?
Um a bit toooooo long and also 858 already does the job for Woodlands commuters at WITH
this doesn’t go to Woodlands…?
No. 110 plies between Compassvale Bus Interchange (SengKang) and Changi Airport, not Woodlands.
110 will be transferred from compasswale to Buangkok interchange
Instead of TPE, can service 110 take PIE en route Bedok North Road & Tampines Ave 10 as connecting service for Woodlands, Sengkang, Punggol, Yishun and Bedok commuters. Thank you.
Then that will be a completely diff route. Maybe a new svc if there’s demand

Can 110 be transfer to Go Ahead or SBST instead. A bit out to have SMRT service there.
