Short Trip Service 168A complements the peak hour demand of Bus Service 168 during morning and evening peak hours of Weekdays and Saturdays. It connects Woodlands to Tampines via the Seletar and Tampines Expressways, with stops at transfer points at Jalan Kayu and TPE (near Punggol Rd).
Service 168A terminates at Tampines Ave 4 (Opp Tampines Stn/Int), within walking distance of Tampines MRT Station. It does not continue to Bedok. Buses thereafter turnaround and return towards Woodlands as Service 168 from Tampines Ave 4 (Tampines Stn/Int).
