Now that COVID-19 is over, should the nite owls be resumed? At night, it was basically impossible for people to go to the city unless they took a taxi which is expensive and not easy to find. People would also be stuck in the city and unable to get back home if there were no nite owls, and they would have no choice but to resort to taking a taxi. The Nite Owls would provide residents of Singapore with access to the city centre, and would especially benefit people working night shifts since the MRT is closed.
