Downtown Line MRT Early Closure & Late Opening (Fri & Sat; Jul–Sep 2026)

MacPherson MRT Station (DTL) - Concourse Paid Area (B2)

Early Closures (on Fridays) & Late Openings (on Saturdays) along the entire Downtown Line (DTL) will take place across nine consecutive Fridays & Saturdays between 10 July 2026 and 5 September 2026 to provide longer engineering hours for systems integration testing across the entire DTL, in preparation for the opening of Downtown Line Stage 3 Extension (Expo – Sungei Bedok).

  • Early Closure at 11.30pm (all Fridays):
    – 10 Jul 2026
    – 17 Jul 2026
    – 24 Jul 2026
    – 31 Jul 2026
    – 7 Aug 2026
    – 14 Aug 2026
    – 21 Aug 2026
    – 28 Aug 2026
    – 4 Sep 2026
  • Late Opening at 8.30am (all Saturdays):
    – 11 Jul 2026
    – 18 Jul 2026
    – 25 Jul 2026
    – 1 Aug 2026
    – 8 Aug 2026
    – 15 Aug 2026
    – 22 Aug 2026
    – 29 Aug 2026
    – 5 Sep 2026

Shuttle buses are available during Late Opening (on Saturdays):

    Could you provide the bus image and the relevant bus stops number and the directions to make users have the clearer path to go. Many of citizens are working in CBD in weekend as well.

    wonder why they can’t do this concurrently with the TEL ECLO. maybe this is a sign that the TEL5 will open before the DTL3e does

      if they do it concurrently, there will be so much more complains coming in from people. with one line doing so, there are so much noises coming from entitled citizens already

      Not under the same operator as well, may I add
      Would be a clusterfuck to manage any sort of coordination and logistics between two different operators
